Writing an article doesn’t just mean putting down thoughts into words. You must write in such a way as to seize the curiosity of your readers.

To get your concept across you must first understand what your readers are looking for and their interests. Then you can get your creative juices going, write some great content and pique their curiosity.

The main ingredient in writing great content is a huge dose of creativity. Whilst creativity could come naturally to many people, some just get a block or just find it difficult to get started with their writing. When writing you are trying to change words into pictures in the reader’s mind this definitely takes some skill.

A distinct and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativeness can present.

Similes and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets written word for word, sentence by sentence then paragraph by paragraph right into a whole develops the essence of your post.

So just what do you need to do when nothing comes to mind?

There is no sure-fire method to get your creative juices flowing. Nobody can guarantee that will get into the right frame of mind but here are 6 ideas to help you:

  1. Keep a diary or notebook with you. Ideas can be triggered by something you might hear, see, or smell. Your senses are your radar in discovering excellent suggestions. Write them down and keep t for future usage they might be helpful later to get your creative juices flowing when you are writing something.
  2. When you are starting to write you need to relax and clear your mind. A jumbled mind can not create new ideas. To get your creative juices flowing you need to be clear and focused – anything that gets in the way of this peace will stop you from writing good quality content. When you want to write you need to relax.
  3. Remember it is your experiences and interactions with other people that will form the basis of what and how you write. Your experiences are what form your mindset as well as your opinions which will be reflected in your writings. Attempt to discover yourself, find out what triggers your feelings, and find out what inspires you and what upsets you. You can then use these feelings to help you in expressing yourself.
  4. Create yourself a location that can inspire your creativeness. Your location can really work against you if it does not make you really content or relaxed. Creative juices start flowing when you have a clear mind and a place to work that is conducive to writing. You should make sure your workspace has objects, images, and smells that make you relaxed. Get rid of the distractions. It is not possible to be more precise than this about the location because what works for one person will not work for someone else.
  5. Set the mood. Find out what helps makes your thoughts operate at their most effective levels. There are lots of different things you can do to set your mood. Some writers make use of alcohol, a bit sip of wine to stir up the creative juices. Some like some mood music, and some let lighting create the atmosphere. You must just do what is good for you.
  6. Sometimes just do something that is outside your normal routine as that will help you think about new ideas. Anything that takes you out of your comfort zone will give you new experiences to help you write better articles.

These are just a few ideas that can help you get your creative juices flowing but in reality, you will need to find what works for you.
